Via Von Joy Restaurant & Cafe is located at Ambuklao Road in Itogon, Benguet. This charming eatery is just a 20-minute drive from Baguio City. It has evolved from a modest biker’s cafe into a beloved destination. Both locals and travelers visit for hearty meals amidst breathtaking mountain views.

Scenic Dining Experience

Perched on a mountainside, Via Von Joy boasts panoramic vistas of the Cordillera landscape. The restaurant’s glass walls offer diners an immersive experience of nature’s grandeur. The second-floor view deck makes it an ideal spot for sunset gazing. It is also perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. 

Culinary Delights

The menu features generous portions of home-style Filipino dishes. Signature offerings include the Via Von Joy Rice and the Kini-ing or Cordilleran smoked meat. VVJ rice is a hearty platter. It combines fried chicken, pork chop, fresh vegetables, egg, and red rice. Other favorites are lechon kawali (₱610), chicken sisig (₱495), tapsilog(₱249), sweet and sour chicken fillet, and bulalo. For dessert, the ube cake (₱230), and leche flan (₱275) are highly recommended.

Rebecca’s Special. A combination of Lechon Kawali, shrimp, vegetables, over easy egg, and rice. (₱315)
Bulalo. A stew made from beef marrow and beef shanks. (₱295)
Double Pork Chop. With chop suey, over easy egg and rice.(₱295)
VVJ’s Special Fried Chicken with chop suey, egg, and rice.(₱245)
Lime and Siling Labuyo. Perfect combo for this food.

Ambiance and Service

The restaurant exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, reflecting genuine Cordilleran hospitality. While the service is generally praised, some patrons note that waiting times can be longer during peak hours. This is located at the main road going to Baguio City. Expect huge numbers of travelers during lunch and dinner hours.
