Cafe Kayman in Baguio City

Posted by

·

Cafe Kayman is a cozy and relaxing spot known for its great coffee, good food, and welcoming ambiance. Located at St. Tomas, the cafe is quite off from the city central but is definitely worth the trip. Perfect for a quiet and intimate food and coffee experience.

Vibe & Atmosphere

Cafe Kayman is often described as a warm and cozy cafe with a unique interior. It has a relaxed environment with a good vibe. It’s like sitting in the middle of a vintage store with all those random beautiful memorabilia around the cafe. The vintage and retro decoration brings the ambiance to the next level. One side of the wall is a collection of coffee makers, tea sets, and cute mug collection.

Food & Drinks

Cafe Kayman serves a variety of meals, from rice dishes and pasta to sandwiches and desserts. Notable menu items include my favorite Yogurt Bowl, Kayman’s Garden Salad, and Pestuna Sandwich. One of the most savory dish from their menu is the Sinigang na Baboy sa Pakwan. It has the same sour taste of Sinigang that we all loved, with a hint of sweetness from the watermelon. The rich taste of the soup is just perfect for a rainy day in Baguio City.

The cafe serves a variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks. Matcha Latte is carefully curated and a crowd favorite.

Service & Accessibility

The cafe is well-loved for its friendly and attentive staff. However, getting there without private transportation can be challenging, as jeepneys and taxis are not always readily available. Also, car park is limited. Before going in, check the cafe’s social media pages for updates on their operating hours and schedules .

Overall Vibe

The cafe is a great spot for those looking to escape the city and enjoy a relaxing coffee break. It also occasionally hosts events like photography exhibits and social gatherings. Visitors recommend the place for its scenic views and peaceful setting, an ideal location for coffee lovers and travelers looking for a unique Baguio experience. If you want good food, a cozy cafe with retro decoration, then this is definitely the place for you.
